The Arizona Freedom Caucus announced their support for the ruling by the Arizona Supreme Court regarding abortion laws in the state from pre-Roe times being upheld.

The Arizona Supreme Court ruled that an 1864 law banning abortion from the time of conception, with an exemption for saving the mothers life, would be upheld in the state. The law would make performing or aiding an abortion a felony crime, punishable by two to five years in prison. The Arizona Supreme Court has placed the ruling on hold for 14 days, sending back to a lower court to clear up any "additional constitutional challenges" that may not have been addressed in their ruling.

The Arizona Freedom Caucus released a statement after the ruling, saying "as Republicans, we should be proud of the fact that today the lives of the preborn are more protected than they have been since SCOTUS’ fatally flawed Roe decision more than a half century ago. Murdering children is not a policy disagreement. Democrat politicians’ infatuation with murdering children is evil."

Public members of the Arizona State Freedom Caucus include State Sen. Jake Hoffman who serves as chairman and State Rep. Jacqueline Parker who serves as vice chairman. Other members include State Representatives Joseph Chaplik, Beverly Pingerelli, Cory McGarr, Austin Smith, Barbara Parker, Rachel Jones, Alex Kolodin, and Justin Heap, and State Senators Justine Wadsack and Anthony Kern.
