Arizona Public Service (APS) has announced a $250,000 donation to The Salvation Army to assist those affected by the recent floods in the Globe-Miami area. In addition to financial support, APS is supplying personal protective equipment and tools for volunteers participating in recovery efforts.

“Arizona isn’t just where we work – it’s home. Seeing our neighbors in the Globe-Miami community go through such devastating flooding is heartbreaking,” said Ted Geisler, APS President and CEO. “We want our customers to know they’re not alone – we’re here to help however we can. Please reach out if you need support with your account or services. Above all, your safety and well-being matter most to us.”

The funds from APS will be used by The Salvation Army for cleanup operations and to provide essential resources like food and shelter for those impacted by the flooding. APS is also collecting items such as hard hats, gloves, and eye protection for distribution among volunteers working on recovery.

Customers of APS in the Globe-Miami region who have been affected by the flooding are encouraged to contact the company at (602) 371-7171 or (800) 253-9405 for assistance with their accounts. Support is available around the clock in both English and Spanish.
