The Arizona Department of Transportation announced on March 20 that it will join the Arizona Department of Public Safety and local law enforcement to conduct a concentrated commercial vehicle safety enforcement operation at the Interstate 10 Ehrenberg Port of Entry on March 25-26.
The annual event, called Operation Full House, aims to ensure safe, secure, and efficient commercial transport across Arizona. This year’s operation will involve more than 50 commercial vehicle enforcement inspectors as part of the Arizona Commercial Vehicle Safety Partnership, which includes ADOT Enforcement and Compliance Division officers and AZDPS State Troopers.
The focus will be on enforcing motor carrier safety regulations such as driver qualification, hours of service, and overall safe operation. Inspectors will also target moving violations, distracted driving, and seat belt violations while conducting inspections to confirm compliance with state laws for both drivers and vehicles. The Ehrenberg Port of Entry is located at milepost 3.5 on eastbound I-10 near the California state line.
ADOT’s Enforcement and Compliance Division works to protect Arizona’s transportation infrastructure by inspecting commercial vehicles at ports of entry and mobile inspection stations. The division also conducts vehicle identification inspections and investigates issues related to vehicle dealers, title fraud, and driver license or state identification fraud.
