Arizona residents are being invited to participate in the upcoming Contingency Open Meeting of the Arizona Corporation Commission, which is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The meeting will provide an opportunity for public comment, but only those who submit a request before the start of the meeting will be allowed to speak.

Members of the public have several options for attending and providing input. Comments can be made in person, by phone, or through video conferencing. Those wishing to speak must submit a “Request to Speak” prior to the beginning of the hearing. To do so, individuals should use the section labeled “Request to Speak at Open Meetings,” select the appropriate hearing date and agenda item, complete the request form, and click submit.

The Chair will review all submitted requests and call on speakers during the meeting. Each individual will have three minutes to make their comments. The Chairman has discretion over who may speak and may ask people with similar viewpoints to choose a representative; that representative would then have five minutes for comment.

The Arizona Corporation Commission emphasizes that public input is welcome and often informative for its work.
