On the Road With ADOT, a podcast produced by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), has recently reached over 100 episodes. The weekly program covers various ADOT projects, personnel, and initiatives.

The podcast is released every Friday on the ADOT website and can also be found on major podcast platforms. Each episode typically runs between 10 and 15 minutes.

This week’s episode features Jeremy DeGeyter, Northcentral District Administrator, discussing the ongoing Interstate 17 wildlife overpass project as well as plans for widening State Route 260 at Lion Springs east of Payson. Recent topics have included new freeway projects in the Phoenix area scheduled for the upcoming year, updates on Interstate 17 flex lanes and widening efforts, and progress on the Interstate 10 expansion between Phoenix and Casa Grande.

ADOT began producing On the Road With ADOT in 2022. In 2024, weekly production started with Public Information Officer Doug Nintzel serving as host. According to ADOT, “The most downloaded episode to date features staff members explaining oversize load permits.”
