Detectives from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) State Gang Task Force arrested Parketta Allen, 27, of Laveen, on February 18, 2026. Allen was wanted on charges including first-degree murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, theft of means of transportation, and burglary. The arrest took place in Phoenix at around 9:20 a.m. without incident.

Following her arrest, Allen was booked into Maricopa County Jail and is being held on a $1.7 million cash-only bond.

According to the AZDPS, this action demonstrates the ongoing efforts by the State Gang Task Force to ensure public safety by pursuing individuals accused of violent crimes. “This arrest reflects the State Gang Task Force’s continued commitment to protecting Arizona communities by identifying, locating, and apprehending violent offenders,” stated an agency spokesperson.

The Arizona State Gang Task Force operates in partnership with citizens and other agencies to address criminal gang activity and transnational crime. “The mission of the Arizona State Gang Task Force is, in collaboration with citizens, partnered agencies, and intelligence resources, to suppress criminal gangs and transnational crime,” according to AZDPS.
