The Arizona Republican Party (AZGOP) released a statement ahead of the Vice Presidential debate in New York City, drawing distinctions between the Harris-Walz ticket and the Trump-Vance campaign.

Arizona Republican Party Chair Gina Swoboda said, “The American people deserve real leadership — not the empty promises and failed radical policies of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Harris has had 3.5 years in the White House, and all she’s delivered is skyrocketing prices, open borders, and weakness on the global stage. Her running mate, Tim Walz, will attempt to defend the indefensible, but there’s no way around the fact that the Harris-Walz ticket represents the most far-left platform in modern history.

Here in Arizona, we’ve felt the consequences of the Biden-Harris administration’s neglect firsthand — from an out-of-control border to rising costs that are making it harder for hardworking families to make ends meet.

Senator J.D. Vance understands these struggles. His story is one of perseverance and resilience, and his leadership alongside President Trump offers a path toward prosperity, security, and a brighter future for all Americans. As the debate unfolds tonight, the contrast will be crystal clear: the Harris-Walz ticket is more of the same failed policies, while Trump and Vance represent the change our nation desperately needs.”

According to AZGOP’s statement, they plan to continue supporting policies aimed at securing borders, reducing living costs for Americans, and protecting freedoms. The party also emphasized that voters would have a clear choice during tonight’s debate between what it described as a radical agenda versus its own proposed vision.
