The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA) has announced the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) aimed at providing obstetric emergency simulation training. The initiative is designed to enhance the preparedness of emergency departments in handling obstetric emergencies.

According to AzHHA, the goal is to improve maternal health outcomes by equipping healthcare providers with evidence-based practices that can reduce maternal morbidity and mortality. The training will also focus on delivering actionable data to help hospitals refine their protocols and boost patient safety.

The RFP calls for programs that can deliver comprehensive simulation experiences tailored to real-life scenarios encountered in emergency settings. This approach aims to ensure that medical teams are better prepared when facing critical situations involving pregnant patients.

More information about the RFP and participation guidelines can be found on AzHHA’s official website.
