The Arizona Republican Party has expressed relief after a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, stating gratitude for law enforcement’s intervention before any harm occurred.

In a statement from party chair Gina Swoboda, the organization emphasized its support for Trump and called for increased security measures. “We call for an IMMEDIATE increase in security to provide President Trump with the level of resources received by a sitting President. The chaos must be brought to an end, and we must ensure our leaders can serve without coming to harm,” Swoboda said.

The statement also highlighted the party’s commitment to its campaign efforts. “AZGOP will not be deterred. We are focused on the ground game and we are throwing every bit of energy we have into winning this election and saving this country,” Swoboda added.

Swoboda concluded by underscoring faith in both divine guidance and public participation: “The ONLY thing that can save this country is God and the people. President Trump and AZGOP will continue to work to earn every vote. God Bless America.”

According to the Arizona Republican Party, their campaign is centered on unity, peace, and their longstanding slogan of making America great again.
