The Arizona Republican Party has congratulated President-Elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance following their projected victory in the 2024 election. The party also reported strong enthusiasm for Republican candidates across Arizona as final ballot counts continue.

According to the AZGOP, Proposition 140 is expected to be defeated. The party attributes this outcome to coordinated efforts with Republican-aligned groups that encouraged voters to reject policies they described as similar to those from California.

Party leaders stated that their campaign focused on lowering costs, defending freedoms, and restoring what they call common sense in government. They emphasized efforts to maintain conservative justices in state courts, which they say helps protect the rule of law and defend the Constitution.

Republicans are also expecting to retain or expand their majorities in the Arizona Legislature. In Maricopa County, a clean sweep by Republicans is anticipated. Party officials characterized these results as a rejection of Democratic policies and leadership in the state.

AZGOP Chair Gina Swoboda said: “This victory is a testament to the grit and determination of Arizonans who believe in the American Dream. We focused on what matters — keeping families safe, bringing down the cost of living, securing our border, and reviving American greatness. We have sent a clear message to Washington: Arizona is red, and when we unite, WE WIN!”

The AZGOP says it remains united and prepared to support the incoming Trump-Vance administration as it takes office.
