State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Horne, has addressed the issue of potential student protests at public schools in Arizona. In his statement, Horne emphasized that while students have the First Amendment right to protest peacefully, such activities should be conducted outside school hours. He further said, “Teachers and other school personnel should not be a part of a protest during class time.”
