Arizona Tech Week began on April 6, bringing thousands of attendees together for a weeklong celebration of the state’s technology sector. The event, which runs through April 12 and is organized by the Arizona Commerce Authority, features more than 400 partner-hosted activities statewide.
The initiative aims to highlight Arizona’s growing reputation as a center for innovation and technology. Activities include workshops, founder meetups, panel discussions, tech demonstrations, startup pitches, and other events designed to showcase advancements in fields such as artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and battery technology.
“We’re proud to kick off Arizona Tech Week and showcase our state’s rising tech leadership,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “From AI and advanced manufacturing to aerospace, batteries, and beyond, the future is being built right here in Arizona. This week celebrates the bold innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech leaders powering our momentum and cementing Arizona as a premier hub for next-generation innovation and startup growth.”
To help manage registrations across hundreds of events efficiently this year, organizers are using Partiful software to provide a standardized RSVP system at no cost. “Arizona Tech Week is the first major non-coastal tech week to use Partiful as its core events platform, and the results speak for themselves,” said Luis Ocampo, Head of Community with Partiful. “400+ events across an entire state in year one is unprecedented for an inaugural tech week, and we’re proud to have helped make that possible.”
Attendees can view schedules by date or interest on the official website. According to the Arizona Commerce Authority, previous economic development efforts resulted in more than 24,000 projected new jobs in Fiscal Year 2022—well above their original goal—demonstrating ongoing growth in both employment opportunities and investment within Arizona’s business community.
Arizona Tech Week is held in partnership with organizations including Honeywell Aerospace; Idealab Arizona; Western Alliance Bank; as well as over three dozen investors and startups from around the region. Organizers say this event will offer participants insight into emerging technologies while reinforcing Arizona’s position within global innovation networks.
