AzHHA has announced the new slate for its 2026 Board of Directors. The board consists of leaders from hospitals and healthcare organizations across Arizona, including representatives from both large health systems and rural hospitals. The primary role of the board is to set policy and strategic direction to fulfill AzHHA’s mission.
Dr. Robert J. Trenschel, MPH, president and CEO of Onvida Health and current chairman of the AzHHA Board, stated: “Hospitals are more than healthcare facilities; we are pillars in our communities and provide our patients with crucial access to care. AzHHA’s continued advocacy ensures that hospitals can continue to thrive, providing healthcare excellence and innovation in their communities.”
Ann-Marie Alameddin, president and CEO of AzHHA, commented on the announcement: “In a time of rapid change and challenge across healthcare, our strength lies in unity. With the leadership of this dynamic and deeply committed Board of Directors, AzHHA is poised to continue to champion the needs of Arizona’s hospitals and the patients they serve.”
The responsibilities for both board officers and directors include shaping policies that guide the association’s strategy in support of its goals.
