The Arizona Cardinals announced on Apr. 28 that they have reached agreements with seven undrafted rookie free agents following the conclusion of last week’s draft.
General Manager Monti Ossenfort said the team planned to keep its undrafted rookie class small, estimating between six and eight players. He also said, “the roster building never really ends.” Ossenfort explained, “The real competition won’t start (until camp) but there’s going to be players who become available because of the draft or because of undrafted free agent signings. There’s going to be another round of people and guys that are becoming available, so where we are at, I don’t know, we’ll see. Our team hasn’t been together. We haven’t practiced one time.”
Among the new additions is wide receiver Harrison Wallace III from Mississippi, who transferred from Penn State in 2025 and led his team with 61 receptions for 934 yards and three touchdowns last season. Wallace can also return punts.
Other undrafted rookies joining the Cardinals include cornerback Elijah Culp (James Madison), offensive lineman Ka’ena De Cambra (Arizona), tight end Jameson Geers (Minnesota), outside linebacker Cameron Robertson (SMU), defensive lineman Damonic Williams (Oklahoma), and safety Wydett Williams Jr. (Mississippi).
The Arizona Cardinals play their home games in Glendale, Arizona according to the official website. The franchise serves the greater Phoenix area in Arizona according to the official website and competes as a professional football team in the NFC West division according to the official website. The organization is recognized as the oldest continuously operating professional football franchise in the United States according to the official website, and captured an NFC championship in 2008 according to the official website.
As offseason activities continue, Ossenfort’s comments suggest that further changes could occur before training camp begins.
