The Arizona Cardinals announced on May 27 their finalized 2026 preseason schedule, which will include four games and the team’s participation in the Hall of Fame game against the Carolina Panthers on Aug. 8.
Head coach Mike LaFleur will have several opportunities to evaluate his roster during these matchups. After facing the Panthers in Canton, Ohio, the Cardinals will travel to Las Vegas to play the Raiders on Aug. 13. The only home preseason game is scheduled for Aug. 22 against the Dallas Cowboys at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The preseason concludes with a road game against the Green Bay Packers on Aug. 28.
While national television coverage is set for the Hall of Fame game, other preseason contests will be available locally: Valley residents can watch via Arizona’s Family, Tucson viewers through KOLD News 13, and fans in Northern Arizona, Yuma, and Albuquerque can tune into Arizona’s Family Sports.
The week in Canton coincides with Larry Fitzgerald’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and marks LaFleur’s first outing as head coach. When asked about starting training camp early for this event, LaFleur said he “loved it.” The matchup with Las Vegas offers Raiders fans their first look at Fernando Mendoza; both teams are also scheduled to meet again in Week 17 of the regular season.
For their lone home appearance this preseason—against Dallas—the Cowboys return to State Farm Stadium for the first time since 2023. Last year’s meeting between these teams was held at AT&T Stadium, where Arizona won 27-17 on Monday Night Football.
The final exhibition features joint practices with Green Bay ahead of their matchup at Lambeau Field and brings added interest as former Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon now serves as Packers defensive coordinator. Additionally, it marks a coaching face-off between brothers Matt (Packers) and Mike LaFleur (Cardinals).
The Arizona Cardinals are a professional football team serving greater Phoenix and competing in the NFC West division; they host home games in Glendale and are recognized as the oldest continuously operating professional football franchise in America, according to their official website.
