Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Cottonwood Village proudly hosts a weekly Veteran’s meeting. Veterans of all war periods and peacetime are encouraged to share camaraderie, service history and personal stories. Family and friends are always welcome. Cottonwood Village Wall of Honor proudly displays pictures of approximately 45 veterans who reside their community. Refreshments are served! Attorney General Mayes announces felony indictment in child sexual exploitation case

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced charges against Maxwell James Barrington for alleged possession of child sexual abuse material. The indictment includes ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. The case was investigated by state authorities with local police assistance.

The average VA Interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan (IRRRL) amount in Arizona during the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 was $433,614, according to figures provided by the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
