Dark Sky Brewing Company is hosting a special event called Dog-toberfest, which combines traditional Oktoberfest activities with dog-friendly events and fundraisers. The celebration will take place from September 20 to October 5 at their Flagstaff location.

The festivities kick off on September 20 with the Okto’beer’fest at Lumberyard Brewing Co., where proceeds from beer sales will benefit High Country Humane. The festival will feature local brews, German food, games, and contests. Admission costs $7 or $5 with a can of dog food.

On September 24, Dark Sky Brewing will host a Fall Equinox Dinner offering a four-course meal paired with a beer flight for $75 per person. Dogs are welcome in the Beer Garden during this event.

Another highlight is the Barks & Brews brewery crawl on September 27, which raises funds for local animal rescues and the Canyon Animal Care Foundation. Participants can visit eight locations to sample beers while dogs socialize. Tickets are available online at http://bit.ly/46CV9xf.

A Puppy Yoga session is scheduled for September 28 at Dark Sky’s Beer Garden patio. This hour-long class combines yoga with playful puppies and concludes with a puppy adoption event and $2 recovery beers. Tickets cost $30 and can be purchased at highcountryhumane.org.

Since its founding in 2014, Dark Sky Brewing Company has been known for its unique craft beers inspired by Flagstaff’s celestial skies. They operate two locations in downtown Flagstaff: one featuring pub grub from Atmosphere Kitchen and another serving wood-fired pizza from Pizzicletta.
