The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) has announced details for the funeral services honoring Pilot Robert Skankey and Trooper Paramedic Hunter Bennett, who died in the line of duty on February 4, 2026.

A service will be held on Friday, February 20, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 610 Eastern St., Kingman, Arizona. Parking at the church will be limited to vehicles with placards. Other attendees are asked to park at Hualapai Elementary School, which will also provide overflow seating for those attending the service.

A second service is scheduled for Monday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Church, 4450 E Elliot Rd., Gilbert, Arizona. Designated parking will be available for placarded vehicles only. Additional parking on church property is very limited due to another event in the area and off-site options are restricted as well. Media vehicles are not allowed to park on church property but may use parking across from the church on the south side of Elliot Road.

During this service, law enforcement drones will be used for safety and security purposes. No other drones—including those operated by media or private individuals—will be permitted in the area to ensure safe airspace operations.

Both services can be viewed via livestream through azdps.gov/live.

The department stated: “The Department remains deeply grateful for the public’s outpouring of support during this profoundly difficult time.”

For more information about Pilot Skankey and Trooper Paramedic Bennett’s lives and service, AZDPS refers to its previous news release dated February 6, 2026.
