Heritage Academy Principal Heidi Udall announced on May 14 that the Parent Teacher Organization families hosted an end-of-year luncheon to honor retiring teachers Jeff Burrell, Angela Parker, Greg Phelps, and Julie Pineda.
The announcement comes as the school prepares for its final week of classes. Udall said that Monday and Tuesday will be regular school days, Wednesday will follow an ‘All 8 day’ schedule, and Thursday will feature the Awards Ceremony and Graduation.
Udall thanked the community for their support throughout the year. “Together this year, we have been building America’s heroes. Thank you. It’s been a team effort,” she said. She concluded her message with well wishes: “Happy Summer!”
According to the official website, Heritage Academy works to inspire hope and determination in students through education on American heroes while maintaining a clean and positive atmosphere for learning. The school provides tuition-free education for grades 7 through 12, fosters strong character development, promotes respect for American founding principles to prepare students for community service, holds full accreditation through Cognia, and lists Heidi Udall as principal with Eve Seaman as assistant principal.
The conclusion of the academic year marks both a celebration of achievements and a transition period as several educators retire from their roles.
