Kyrene School District announced on May 8 the recipients of the 2026 Tempe Diablos Charities Excellence in Education Awards, recognizing outstanding teachers and staff at its 37th annual celebration.
The awards highlight individuals who have made significant contributions to education within the district. The winners include Susan Juetten (Teacher of the Year, Kyrene de la Mirada Leadership Academy), Linh Sullivan (Class Act, Kyrene de la Mirada Leadership Academy), Finnian McLarnon (Inspiration, Kyrene de las Manitas Innovation Academy), Jacqueline Rios Ramirez (Rising Star, Kyrene de las Brisas), Elizabeth Morris (High Impact, Kyrene de la Mirada Leadership Academy), Mary Jane Rincon (Lifetime Achievement, Kyrene School District Office), and Ashley Lemieux (Leadership, Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School).
