Matchmaking Collective, a collaboration between Karen Monique and Marnie Zang Katularu, announced on May 2 the launch of a new matchmaking service designed for individuals seeking high-caliber relationships. The initiative is based in Arizona and aims to expand into major metropolitan markets.

The partnership brings together Monique’s expertise in curated introductions with Katularu’s clinical background as a licensed psychotherapist trained in the Gottman Method. According to the founders, their approach combines intuition with psychological insight to create more meaningful and sustainable connections for clients.

ā€œThis isn’t just a collaboration—it’s a recalibration of the industry,ā€ said Monique. ā€œWe’ve created a model where introductions are not only curated, but deeply aligned with who someone is and what they’re truly seeking.ā€ Katularu added, ā€œAttraction creates momentum, but compatibility creates longevity. Our role is to guide clients toward both.ā€

Matchmaking Collective offers services including access to a private network of vetted individuals, hand-selected introductions informed by both intuition and psychology, evidence-based relationship coaching, and tiered membership options ranging from basic access to concierge-level matchmaking.

This launch reflects broader changes within industries that support personal growth or business development across Arizona. For example, organizations such as the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce promote community prosperity by advocating for businesses, providing leadership access, supporting economic development initiatives, fostering connectivity among members and offering business education according to the official website. The Chamber also extends its services throughout Scottsdale while partnering with groups like the East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance and local institutions such as Arizona State University according to its official website.

Both Matchmaking Collective’s launch and ongoing efforts by organizations like the Chamber highlight an increasing focus on intentional connection—whether in business or personal relationships—as well as collaborative approaches that draw on multiple areas of expertise.
