The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has launched new radio and digital advertisements in Arizona, thanking Representatives David Schweikert (AZ-01) and Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) for their efforts to make the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent. The campaign is running across Arizona’s 1st and 6th Districts.

This initiative continues NFIB’s ongoing advocacy for the Small Business Deduction. The ads highlight the representatives’ votes to secure this tax relief and prevent what NFIB describes as a significant tax increase for small business owners.

“Making the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent is a big win for Main Street,” said NFIB Arizona State Director Chad Heinrich. “By voting to protect this tax relief, Representatives David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani have given small business owners in Arizona the certainty they need to grow their operations, continue creating jobs, and give back to their communities. NFIB appreciates their leadership in standing up for small businesses in our state.”

The deduction was first introduced as part of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It allows eligible small business owners to deduct up to 20% of their qualified business income, a measure intended to help smaller firms compete with larger corporations.
