The majority of voters in seven battleground states, including Arizona, rate Vice President Kamala Harris’ job performance on the border as weak.
That’s according to a new poll released this week by American Greatness that surveyed voters in Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina.
Only 8% of voters in the survey said Harris’ performance on the border was “very strong,” with 47% saying her performance has been “very weak” and 11% saying her performance was “somewhat weak.”
President Joe Biden (D) appointed Harris in March 2021 “to lead efforts to stamp migration across the U.S.-Mexico border.” Since Harris’ appointment, the “surge” of illegal aliens crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, particularly the Arizona portion, has grown worse.
There have been 238,875 total illegal alien encounters in Arizona’s Tucson Sector during fiscal year 2024, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has arrested 38,473 illegal aliens who have previous criminal convictions or who are wanted by law enforcement.
