Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky will host a town hall meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on May 27 at the Granite Reef Senior Center.
The event, which will take place at 1700 N. Granite Reef Road, is open to all Scottsdale residents and neighborhood leaders. The town hall aims to provide an opportunity for direct engagement between the mayor and community members about city services, quality-of-life issues, and the future of Scottsdale.
Attendees are encouraged to participate by asking questions, raising concerns, and sharing ideas in a respectful setting. “Town halls are an important way for us to connect directly with residents and have open, respectful conversations about the future of our city,” Mayor Borowsky said. “I look forward to hearing from the community and continuing to work together on the issues that matter most to Scottsdale.”
The Granite Reef Senior Center is described as a hub for active adults in Scottsdale and regularly hosts civic events as well as educational gatherings focused on neighborhoods. All interested residents are welcome; however, seating may be limited so early arrival is recommended.
Borowsky has supported service initiatives for children, older adults, and underprivileged youth through board roles; she has also emphasized resident engagement through updates from her office; served previously on the City Council advocating fiscal conservatism; maintained lifelong residency in Scottsdale; and currently serves as mayor—all according to the official website.
