“Nurses in Arizona and across the country go above and beyond to care for our loved ones in times of need. Our bipartisan resolution is a small token of our appreciation for their heroism,” said Sinema.
Arizona is home to almost 110,000 registered nurses, more than 11,000 licensed practical nurses, more than 20,000 certified nursing assistants, more than 8,000 licensed nursing assistants, more than 13,000 nurse practitioners, 132 clinical nurse specialists, 300 certified nurse midwives, and over 1,000 certified registered nurse anesthetists.
