Tier 1 Strategy launches with seasoned political operatives in Arizona

A new public affairs firm, Tier 1 Strategy, has been launched in Phoenix, Arizona. The firm is a collaboration of three experienced figures in Arizona politics and government relations: Susan Cannata, Ryan O’Daniel, and Sabrina Vazquez. Tier 1 Strategy will provide integrated services in government relations, public affairs, and campaign consulting, allowing it to operate effectively across the Legislature, executive agencies, and Congress.

Susan Cannata brings over thirty years of experience representing clients before the Arizona Legislature and administrative agencies. Her expertise spans education, healthcare, human services, and local government. She was previously a founding partner at Peters, Cannata & Moody before starting Tier 1 Strategy.

Ryan O’Daniel has nearly twenty years of experience in Arizona politics and public affairs. His career includes roles in competitive legislative races and national policy. He served as a senior advisor to Governor Doug Ducey’s 2014 campaign and managed Senator John McCain’s re-election campaign. Most recently, he led Intrepid Public Affairs.

Sabrina Vazquez joins the firm after more than ten years at the University of Arizona as Assistant Vice President for State Relations. She also served as Director of Legislative Affairs at Peters, Cannata & Moody for two years.
