Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne has filed 13,834 voter signatures with the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office, officially qualifying for the ballot for re-election and surpassing the required number.
The filing highlights support among Republican voters for Horne’s leadership and his record on parental rights, academic standards, and school choice in Arizona. The campaign said that volunteers collected signatures across the state, reflecting broad statewide support among voters committed to maintaining Arizona’s position in school choice and parental empowerment.
“I am grateful to the thousands of Arizonans who signed our petition and support our efforts to restore academic excellence, protect parents’ rights, and defend Arizona’s nation-leading universal Education Savings Account program,” Horne said. “Our schools must focus on teaching students the fundamentals they need to succeed, not political agendas, and I will continue fighting to ensure parents remain in charge of their children’s education.”
During his current term, Horne has prioritized raising academic standards, strengthening accountability, supporting teachers, and expanding educational freedom for families across the state. He has consistently defended Arizona’s universal Education Savings Account program.
With this filing, Horne secures ballot access for the 2026 election cycle. Campaign officials said he will continue engaging voters across Arizona in the coming months.
