Heavier traffic is anticipated on westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix and the Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) in Glendale ahead of the Arizona Cardinals’ Thursday night football game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has advised motorists to allow for extra travel time and arrive well before the game’s scheduled 5:15 p.m. kickoff at State Farm Stadium.

Parking lots at State Farm Stadium will open at 1:15 p.m., according to the city of Glendale. Fans coming from Chandler or the Southeast Valley are encouraged to use westbound or northbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) as an alternative route to avoid congestion on I-10 through downtown Phoenix.

For up-to-date highway conditions, travelers can visit ADOT’s Arizona Traveler Information site at https://az511.gov, use the az511 app available for Apple or Android devices, or call 511.
