The University of Phoenix released the Spring 2026 issue of Alumni Chronicles Magazine on May 28, marking the institution’s 50th anniversary. The magazine is available in both digital and print formats and features stories about alumni achievements, career insights, and university news.

April Worden, director of Alumni and Career Marketing at University of Phoenix, said, “This anniversary issue of Alumni Chronicles Magazine celebrates the many paths University of Phoenix alumni have taken and the contributions they continue to make in their communities and professions. Their stories reflect the lasting value of an education built for real life – designed to meet learners where they are.”

Founded in 1976, University of Phoenix was established to expand access to higher education for adults balancing work, family and school. The Spring 2026 issue includes retrospective features as well as current perspectives from alumni. Articles include a look back at milestones over five decades, profiles on notable graduates such as Janet Walsh—CEO of Birchtree Global—and coverage about three alumni inducted into the Alumni Luminary program. According to Worden, these stories are intended to inform and celebrate professional journeys across sectors.

The magazine also highlights recent university updates such as a TEDx talk by an alumna, recognition with the Milken Educator Award for another graduate, homecoming updates, and details about leadership roles held by graduates—including those at Fortune 500 companies.

In addition to its publication efforts, University of Phoenix offers resources for its more than one million alumni nationwide. These include career support services like résumé building assistance and interview preparation through its Career Services for Life commitment. Professional development discounts and networking opportunities are also available.

According to the official website, University of Phoenix works to address barriers to education for underserved communities; operates a physical campus in Phoenix alongside online programs; offers more than 100 career-focused degrees linked with over 300 professions; aims to equip students with skills for career advancement; serves students across the nation; and holds accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission.
