An emergency public hearing is being held Monday at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix for President Donald Trump’s legal team and select members of the state’s legislature regarding the recent elections.

The event is scheduled to last from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“We are pleased that the State Legislatures in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Michigan will be convening hearings to examine the November 3rd presidential election,” personal attorney to President Donald J. Trump, Jenna Ellis said of the event in a release.

The goal of the meeting is to see if there is enough evidence to call for a special session regarding the election results. The president’s legal team will be present at the meeting.

While tickets are limited, the event is free and open to the public.

There have been many issues brought to the forefront during the most recent election, such as the type of voting machines being used and the number of absentee ballots that were turned in.

Earlier this week, Arizona GOP Chairwoman Dr. Kelli Ward questioned the numbers in a tweet in response to someone saying there were more than 500,000 people who had moved to the state from California in the last decade and that there were 2.2 million people who moved to Arizona since 2010.

Ward asked if they were expected to believe that nearly all of the voters voted for Joe Biden, but then voted for Republicans for every other office on the ballot.

Ward also filed a petition before canvassing can be completed on Monday. In a news release, she says that Arizonans aren’t confident in the state’s election canvass process and that they deserve to have complete trust in their election process.

In Maricopa County, there were irregularities and the GOP requested to postpone the election result certification. The judge, however, denied that request.

In Mohave County, the election officials have refused to certify the ballots.

Gov. Doug Ducey declared Biden the winner of the state on Tuesday. Biden won the state over Trump by 10,457 votes.
