The Georgia Secretary of State is being asked to inspect signatures on absentee ballots to ferret out possible fraud.
“I am reiterating my call for @GaSecofState to request the signature verification of absentee ballots. Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy, and we must use all available tools to protect the integrity of the vote,” House Speaker David Ralston said.
Ralston echoes comments made by Gov. Brian Kemp when he was certifying the election results.
Kemp said a hand recount and an audit found that Joe Biden won the election by just over 10,500 votes.
Trump previously said he would always challenge votes made in the state.
