The Grand Canyon National Park was recently recognized as one of the most Instagrammable national parks in America.

According to KGUN 9 in Tucson, Grand Canyon National Park ranked seventh on printing company Printique's list of top 10 national parks to post on Instagram.

"Before the pandemic, U.S. national parks attracted around 300 million visitors each year, with roughly six million of those visiting the Grand Canyon National Park," a spokesperson from Printique said, according to KGUN 9. "With spring approaching and people ready to start traveling again, this study provides a great insight into which locations are the most photogenic and can guarantee visitors the 'perfect Insta pic.'"

Printique examined Instagram data, looking for which one has the highest amount of "hashtags per acre," KGUN 9 said. The Grand Canyon actually has the highest amount of Instagram hashtags at 4,067,301, but the average was brought down by the park's massive 1,201,647-acre size.

Grand Canyon National Park finished ahead of the Pinnacles park and behind Yosemite.

According to the National Park Service, Grand Canyon National Park is located in Arizona and encompasses  277 miles of the Colorado River and its adjacent uplands. The Grand Canyon is approximately one mile deep and up to 18 miles (29 km) wide.
