Laveen Village Ace Hardware celebrated its one-year anniversary last weekend.

America's most celebrated "helpful place" in Laveen Village celebrated its one-year anniversary from Nov. 11 to 13. Laveen Village Ace Hardware is located at 3540 W. Baseline Rd. The store brings the company's unique blend of personal, knowledgeable, and helpful service paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products to Laveen residents. 

"Anniversary event Veterans Day weekend," staff from Laveen Village Ace Hardware wrote in a Nov. 4 Facebook post. "Nov. 11-13." 

Customers could enter a raffle to win a Paint A Room makeover box (including a $100 gift card, paintbrush, paint tool, booklet, and Ben Moore swag), an Ego Power+ Straight Shaft Battery string trimmer valued at $249, a Weber Spirit II E-210 gas grill valued at $459, or a Milwaukee drill and driver set valued at $399. 

Exclusive offers honored in-store included $5 off a purchase of $25 on Friday; a free five-gallon bucket for the first 200 customers, with an extra 20% off everything that fit in it on Saturday; and 50% off one regular-priced item under $3 on Sunday.

Standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
