Catholic Vote President Brian Burch condemns Arizona democrats for their vote to strike down bill requiring schools to have separate showers and locker rooms for transgender students. Their ‘No’ vote would require biological boys identifying as girls to shower with biological girls in school locker rooms.

"The Democratic Party continues to reveal its values for all of America to see. Not only do Democrats support abortion up until the moment of birth, and argue that boys can become girls, but they also believe a boy pretending to be a girl should be allowed to shower with girls in the public schools. Arizonans and all Americans must face this reality and reject this kind of depraved radicalism."

Legislation in the Arizona state senate seeking to protect the privacy of students while showering passed on a straight party line vote of 16-13, and is now headed to the state house. The bill called for public schools to provide separate showers for "transgender" children so that biological boys and girls would not be showing together.

The 13 no votes were all Democrats, and the AZ Senate Republicans responded with this on X:

"Republicans voted ‘yes’ on requiring public schools to provide private showers to transgender kids so that ALL children can feel safe and comfortable. Senate Democrats voted ‘no’ and showed their acceptance for males and females being forced to shower together, despite the increased risk of sexual assaults on teenage girls."

Madison, Wisconsin-based Catholic Vote is an advocacy organization that wants to “inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of our faith in public life,” according to the group’s website. Founded in 2008, its president is Brian Burch.
