Citizens for Free Enterprise Director: 'The vast majority of Americans do not trust President Biden on the economy’

The executive director of Citizens for Free Enterprise (CFE) said "the vast majority of Americans do not trust President Biden on the economy" after his administration have failed to predict and address growing inflation and economic pressures.

“President Biden and the White House get so many economic forecasts wrong that it would put the local weatherman to shame,” said CFE Executive Director J.P. Twist in post on the group's website. “It’s no wonder why the vast majority of Americans do not trust President Biden on the economy, he keeps listening to the same so-called experts that have been wrong at every turn. The only way to fix the American economy is to put an end to Bidenomics.”

Prices have risen 19.4% since Biden became President, according to CFE, with inflation at or above 3% for the past three years. Polls from swing states show 70% of voters are concerned about Bidenomics and feel the economy is not improving.

CFE posted a video (above) showing Biden economic advisors like Janet Yellen, Secretary of the Treasury, and Jared Bernstein, the President’s chair of the Council of Economic Advisors, giving incorrect responses on economic predictions or failing to give answers on questions regarding Biden's economic policies.

Based in Phoenix CFE is an advocacy organization with a focus of standing "against threats to economic freedom," according to their website. Founded in 2006, the current CEO is Doug Ducey, former Arizona Governor.

Ducey (R) served as the Arizona Governor from 2015 to 2023. A Toledo, Ohio native, Ducey attended St. John's Jesuit High School and Academy, and received his bachelor's from Arizona State University. Before running for governor, Ducey worked as a marketing executive at Procter & Gamble and then started Coldstone Creamery, an ice cream company based in Scottsdale.
