Terraline, a company that focuses on autonomous-ready electric trucks, has announced plans for a new engineering headquarters in greater Phoenix, Arizona. The move is poised to create 30 skilled engineering positions. This facility will serve as the center for developing Terraline’s long-haul Class 8 truck, which boasts a battery range exceeding 500 miles and is suitable for any driver.

CEO Graham Doorley commented on the decision to move from California, stating, "Arizona has welcomed Terraline with open arms. Their business-friendly environment, exceptional engineering talent, and reduced operations costs made moving to Arizona from California an easy choice. I especially want to thank the ACA for their continued support of Terraline."

Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, noted the significance of Terraline's decision, saying, "Terraline’s new engineering headquarters is an exciting addition to Arizona’s growing electric vehicle industry. The new facility showcases Arizona’s attractiveness as a destination for cutting-edge innovations and startups. We’ve been proud to work with Graham Doorley and the Terraline team for the past two years and are incredibly excited to see their operations take off."

Terraline, established in 2021, produces the Tangra LH1, a heavy, long-range truck aimed at reducing CO2 emissions. The company's plans align with Arizona's expanding electric vehicle sector, which already includes manufacturers and parts suppliers.
