Peoria home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Peoria rose by $17,450 while total sales decreased by 15.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 350 homes sold, with a median sale price of $259,950 - a 7.2% increase over the $242,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 413 homes sold in Peoria in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,610, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
