Voter registration records indicate at least two non-citizens voted in previous Maricopa County elections before being purged from voter rolls.
In both cases, the non-citizens were reportedly registered improperly when receiving driver’s licenses.
The non-citizens, who all live in Maricopa County, 18 in all, were purged from voter rolls via jury commission in 2018, but not before records indicate two of them voted in previous elections.
Bayne, an illegal immigrant, voted twice, records show.
In all, the Arizona Secretary of State has logged the names of 1,441 voters who were purged due to not carrying citizenship.
Records indicate Lawrence Bayne, one of those purged in Arizona in 2018, was a registered voter for at least 25 years. He was purged in 2018 but not before voting in the 2014 and 2016 general elections. In fact, Bayne was not only registered, but re-instated after checking a box on the registration form, records show. Bayne later admitted to the county recorder and the election commission that he was not a citizen.
Similarly, Yolanda Diaz was registered as a voterfor 12 years and voted in at least the 2014 and 2018 Democratic primaries.
Arizona’s previous Secretary of State Michele Reagan, who held the office from 2015 to 2019, was accused of allegedly allowing illegal aliens to vote.
