Cochise College is gearing up for an evening of music, fun, and education with the Expo: Concert & Big Open House on Friday, April 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sierra Vista Campus, 901 North Colombo Avenue. This event is free to attend and offers a wide range of activities and performances that people of all ages will enjoy.
The college is excited to announce that Chris Kane Trio, a Rock n’ Roll cover band from Phoenix, will be rocking the stage for one night only. Chris Kane Trio has performed at major festivals and shows across Arizona, including the Arizona State Fair and our very own Pit Fire Pottery Festival.
The Expo also offers an Open House of nearly 40 interactive activities with plenty of fun games, demos and learning opportunities, from exploring the automotive classrooms and learning about changing a tire to discovering the world of nursing and allied health with simulators. Attendees can connect with college students, faculty, staff, and the campus.

Robyn Martin, the assistant dean of marketing at Cochise College, says for $7, you can purchase a BBQ plate. Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the spring weather and our beautiful Sierra Vista Campus. “The educational component of the Expo is a chance to explore the college’s programs and see the facilities firsthand. It’s a great way to learn about the degrees, certificates and other opportunities available to students and the community,” she added.
Admission is FREE. All are welcome. Check-in at the welcome tents near the Student Union and the Learning Commons. For more information, go to www.cochise.edu/expo.
