Crane joins fellow freshman Members of Congress in launching "Fresh Freedom" podcast

Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) announced that he has joined four fellow freshman members of the U.S. House to launch a new podcast called, "Fresh Freedom."

"Glad to join my friends @RepEricBurlison, @RepLuna, @RepBrecheen, and @RepOgles as we aim to give an inside look into our fight against the Swamp," tweeted Crane.

A press release issued by Crane's office said the podcast "episodes will give an exclusive view of their work as part of the House Freedom Caucus as well as the battles up on Capitol Hill." Crane co-hosts hte podcast with Reps. Eric Burlison (R-MO), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), Josh Brecheen (R-OK), and Andy Ogles (R-TN).

“This podcast is going to be different than any other political talk show podcast," said Burlison. "The goal of this podcast is to provide you with a backstage pass, if you will, to what’s happening from the perspective of a freshman member of Congress.”

Crane said the podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube and Rumble.

Crane, 43, was first elected to represent Arizona’s Second Congressional District in Nov. 2023. He defeated incumbent U.S. Rep. Tom O’Halleran (D-Prescott), winning 54 percent to O’Halleran’s 46 percent.  

A Yuma native, Crane graduated from Cibola High School and attended Arizona Western and University of Arizona before dropping out a week after the September 11 attacks to enlist in the U.S. Navy. He served as a Navy SEAL from 2001-2014.

Arizona’s Second Congressional District includes all of northeast Arizona, including Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott, Grand Canyon National Park, and the Navajo Indian Reservation as well as Maricopa, Casa Grande, Coolidge and Florence in south suburban Phoenix.
