WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema met with representatives of the National Association of Manufacturers to discuss how to maximize the success of the Sinema-led bipartisan infrastructure law and Chips and Science law to strengthen America’s leadership in manufacturing, create and support strong careers, and fuel a healthy economy where everyone benefits.
“We’re working to cut harmful red tape to fuel Arizona’s manufacturing sector, which will support strong Arizona careers, fuel a healthy Arizona economy, and lower the prices of goods for Arizonans,” said Sinema.
The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) supported Sinema’s bipartisan infrastructure law, which fuels thousands of strong Arizona careers by building rail lines, roads, bridges, and restoring Arizona’s crumbling infrastructure.
Last year, Sinema met with NAM to discuss how her bipartisan Chips and Science law positions Arizona to lead the next phase of American innovation and manufacturing. Sinema’s Chips and Science law provides more than $52 billion to boost domestic semiconductor manufacturing, reduce reliance on foreign countries like China, and enhance the United States’ global competitiveness. In April, Sinema held a roundtable with NAM and local manufacturing companies focused on finding solutions to ongoing workforce shortages and challenges.
