Northern Arizona University cost $12,274 in tuition and fees for students studying in-state, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

This ranks Northern Arizona University as one of the seven most expensive schools in Arizona in 2022.

The amount an in-state students in tuition and fees was $378 more than the previous year.

Out-of-state students attending Northern Arizona University in 2022 were expected to pay $27,536, which is $894 more than the previous year.

The average cost of college has more than doubled in the 21st century, growing by more than 7% every year. In-state students can expect to spend nearly $10,000 on tuition alone per year at a public, 4-year post-secondary school.Meanwhile, out-of-state tuitions averages $27,457.
