Former Republican Arizona Govenor Doug Ducey said he supported both U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake (R-Ariz.) and presidential candidate Donald Trump (R) in the upcoming election.

"Much is on the line this election year & I’m encouraging all eligible Arizonans to vote & prioritize the issues that most affect our state & nation," Ducey wrote in a post on X. "I will be voting for Republicans up & down the ballot in November — and both Donald Trump and Kari Lake have my endorsement."

Ducey also highlighted the key topics heading into election season, naming border security, inflation, the renewal of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act from the Trump administration, school choice programs, and the judges on the Supreme Court as some of most important factors.

Kari Lake is running for a seat in the United States Senate representing Arizona. She was the Republican nominee for Governor in 2022, when she was defeated by current Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D).

Former President Donald Trump is the Republican nominee in the upcoming Presidential election. He is running alongside U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), who he named as his running mate during the 2024 Republican National Convention.

Doug Ducey served as the 23rd governor of Arizona. He was first elected in 2014 after former Gov. Jan Brewer (R) became ineligible due to term limits. He ran again in 2018 and successfully earned another four-year term, which meant leaving office in 2022 due to term limits.

Prior to being governor, Ducey also served as the state treasurer of Arizona. He founded Cold Stone Creamery, an ice cream business based in Scottsdale, Arizona, which has since gone international.

Born in Ohio, Ducey moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Ducey currently serves as the CEO of Citizens for Free Enterprise, a PAC dedicated to economic freedom for citizens.
