Bienvenido announced its support for President Donald J. Trump's decision to revoke the oil license granted to Chevron under the Biden administration, which permitted the export of Venezuelan oil to the United States. The announcement was made in a press release on February 27, 2025.

According to Bienvenido, this decision is seen as a significant step towards cutting off financial support to Nicolas Maduro’s regime. The organization accuses the regime of narcoterrorism, human rights abuses, and undermining Venezuela’s economy. It claims that revenues from this license were not used for the benefit of Venezuelan citizens but rather to sustain an illegitimate regime hostile to the United States.

Bienvenido has consistently supported the recognition of Venezuela's elected president, Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, following what it describes as fraudulent elections. It also reaffirms its support for opposition leader Maria Corina Machado. The organization states that President Trump's termination of Biden-era concessions sends a message that the U.S. will no longer tolerate regimes undermining democracy and national security.

"When it comes to defending freedom against dictatorial regimes in our hemisphere like Venezuela’s, there is no greater ally than President Trump," said Abraham Enriquez, founder and president of Bienvenido. "President Trump is once again keeping his promise of refusing to recognize the illegitimacy of the Maduro regime, taking concrete action to stop its abuse of power. We commend him for his principled clarity, his swift and decisive action, and his commitment to supporting Venezuela’s path toward freedom and democracy."

According to its LinkedIn page, Bienvenido aims to highlight contributions from the Hispanic community in the United States by focusing on areas such as faith, education, civic engagement, and cultural prosperity. The platform encourages Hispanic participation in civic life and emphasizes their role in enriching society and supporting their communities.
