Deceased former Sen. John McCain is being revived in the media this week after it was revealed he had allegedly moved against Trump.

Political commentator Julie Kelly responded to a tweet by Breitbart News regarding claims that Cindy McCain, John McCain’s wife, made, saying that he would have wanted the country to “move on” and support Joe Biden since the election has ended.

“During Obama/Trump ‘transition’ period, McCain used his lackey David Kramer to seed dossier in the media—including BuzzFeed—and gave it to Comey. McCain held Armed Services hearing Jan. 5, 2017 w/Clapper to legitimize collusion hoax. He spent almost 2 years pushing it.  So no,” Kelly, an author and political commentator from Orland Park, tweeted.

Breitbart News reported Cindy McCain said that it was time to move on.

“He would be telling these people, ‘It is time that we move on. It’s time that we heal, it’s time that we support our President-elect and also encourage the GSA [General Services Administration] to release the funds so that he can get on with his transition team,” Cindy McCain said during an appearance Friday on CNN, Breitbart reported.

Cindy McCain is currently serving as an advisory board member of Biden’s presidential transition team and endorsed him in September. Cindy McCain also lent her voice to be used for the Democratic National Convention in August of her speaking about her late husband and Biden’s friendship.

Cindy McCain said that there is a role for Republicans in Biden’s administration. She said recently on “The View” that Biden’s administration would be “all-inclusive” and that she was honored to be a part of the transition team. She said her job as a member of the board is to recruit Republicans into places within Biden’s new administration.

Cindy McCain said that Biden's standards and values would make him a good president, saying he would also work with those across the aisle.
