Republicans across the state are calling for a decertification of the state’s election results.
A rally was held on Dec. 7 in Phoenix in support of Donald Trump. Supporters waved Trump flags, American flags and wore Trump’s signature red hat.
State Sen. Sylvia Allen (R-Snowflake) said during the rally that she heard 10 hours of testimony last week.
“We’re being told that there was no fraud committed during our election, that is absolutely not true,” Allen said during the rally. “We have enough evidence to call for, we’re hearing today pleading that we can have a...forensic audit done on the general election.”
Allen said an audit is extremely important.
State Sen. Sonny Borrelli (R-Lake Havasu City) said the Democrats have stolen another election. He said the election was fraudulent.
“This election is fraudulent and the electors need to be decertified and the election needs to be decertified,” Borrelli said during the rally. “We need to award those electors to the previous election, which would be Donald Trump.”
State Rep. John Fillmore (R-Apache Junction) said every time he runs for office he says America is the greatest country of all time.
“Today we are under attack from an enemy more insidious, destructive, conniving and dangerous, an enemy within our own shores,” Fillmore said during the rally. “They operate under the disguise of Americans and patriots and they are not. The right to vote is being stolen.”
Fillmore said he sent letters to every county commissioner of the state asking for a count of the votes and an investigation into those votes. He said he did not receive a response from any of the counties.
“How can you not see the proof if you don’t look?” Fillmore said. “We need to have the audit. We need to have the machines audited.”
