Arizona Industrial Commission issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.
In accordance with A.R.S. § 23-363(B), Arizona's minimum wage will increase from $12.15 to $12.80 effective January 1, 2022.
The 65 cent increase in minimum wage is based on the increase in inflation between August 2020 and August 2021, as published in the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Consumer Price Index.
