This school year, the City of Mesa Police Department will start it's Officer Adopt a School program. Patrol officers and detectives will be periodically visiting elementary schools within their assigned areas. The program aims to deter violence and crime activity while strengthening the relationship between Mesa Police, our schools, the students and their families. We want our community to know we are there when you need us.
Police officers will begin visiting elementary schools from the start of the academic year and introduce themselves to staff and students. So, if you happen to see a Mesa Police Officer at your school, make sure to come up and say hi!
