Recently, Cottonwood P.D. Victim Advocate Johannah Rutschow was selected as the Celebrating Women in Yavapai County Law Enforcement Unsung Hero Award recipient. The award recognizes those who demonstrate outstanding knowledge, expertise, and professionalism; perform with excellence in support of the organization's mission; create an influential and professional impact; and serve as a role model for all personnel through positive attitude and actions. There were multiple nominees for the award from across Yavapai County, however, Johannah was ultimately selected by the Awards Committee. She received the award at the Celebrating Women in Yavapai County Law Enforcement luncheon, which was hosted this year by the Camp Verde Marshal's Office. Great job Johannah!
