TBI 202 - "All About the A's" - Assets, Assessments, & Analysis of Behavior on October 7 - 8, 2022

Training for professionals and family on behaviors after brain injury

or neuro-impairment and assessments/interventions.

TBI 202 IS VALUABLE FOR ANYONE WORKING IN THE SCHOOLS OR WITH YOUR: Counselors, general education teachers, SPED teachers, related service personnel, administrators, support staff, and parents/caregivers.

This in-depth behavior workshop will include an overview of brain-behavior relationships, the importance of frontal lobe and the limbic system development and function, signs/symptoms of brain injury and neurological impairments as observable behaviors. Focus will be on executive functioning, behavior management and determining students’ strengths and assets using a hypothesis testing approach to assess and create appropriate interventions and strategies for use in the classroom and community. A "Zones of Self-Regulation" discussion will be included.

The format will be lecture with open discussion, situation study and one case study with an emphasis on strengthening team interactions.

**IMPORTANT - THERE IS A PRE-REQUISITE OF ATTENDING A TBI 100 OR 101 TO ATTEND THIS TRAINING. If you have any questions regarding pre-req's please contact Tiffany Wilkinson at info.erllc@gmail.com.

IMPORTANT: This in-person training is being held over two consecutive days. Half day sessions for each day.

Dates are: Friday, October 7th & Saturday, October 8th, 2022.

Times: Friday's session is from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm & Saturday's session is from 8:30am-12:00pm AZ Time (MST).
